Then clicked on my game library. I scrolled down a little to where is says more and has that down arrow. I then clicked on the expansion packs and those that I already owned it said download which I did and it worked.

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions, but yes to both of the above I just plugged in my PS4 controller, same usb port and same usb cable and it works fine I went back and tried my Xbox controller again, still no. Went back to a few other games again with my Xbox controller and they all still work fine. This makes no sense. If it was a problem with the controller itself, it would not work on other games.
